Editorial Policy

How we create content and why you can trust it.

We test what we review

Every tool mentioned in our comparison and review posts has been tested by our team. We sign up for free trials or paid plans, create schedules, clock in and out, generate timesheets, and use the product as a real manager would. If we say "tested," we mean it.

We don't review tools based on feature lists or marketing pages. Screenshots in our posts are from real accounts we created.

Pricing is verified manually

Pricing data in our posts comes from each tool's public pricing page, verified at the time of writing. We include the date in every post so you know when prices were last checked. If a competitor changes their pricing, we update the post.

Our comparison calculators use real plan prices, not estimates. We compare tools at equivalent feature tiers: the plan that includes scheduling, time tracking, and reports.

No paid placements

No company pays us to be included in, excluded from, or ranked higher in our comparison posts. We don't use affiliate links. Our revenue comes from Turnozo subscriptions, not from recommending other tools.

We're a competitor, and we're upfront about it

Turnozo is a scheduling and time tracking tool. When we compare ourselves to competitors, we're obviously biased. We try to be fair anyway. Every comparison post includes the competitor's strengths alongside their weaknesses. If a tool is genuinely better for a specific use case, we say so.

Legal and regulatory content

Our Spanish-language content about labor law, convenios colectivos, and workplace regulations cites specific articles from the Estatuto de los Trabajadores, LISOS, and relevant Real Decretos. We reference official data from the Inspeccion de Trabajo y Seguridad Social where available.

This content is informational, not legal advice. For specific situations, consult a labor lawyer or asesoria laboral.

Data and statistics

Statistics in our posts are sourced and cited. We link to the original study, government report, or industry survey. When data comes from multiple sources, we note the range. We don't cite "studies show" without linking the actual study.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the post. Every post shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error, email us at hello@turnozo.com.
